About the Project

Sol Arrat can confidently be called the point of origin of the entire Sol Oritur project and all its sub-projects. It all started in 2012 with the idea for a "port city on the skull". Although the skull has not been part of the city and the project since the first major overhaul of the city with the map change in 2014, at least a part of the original idea has still been preserved. And so is some of the old, original building mass.

Nevertheless, or perhaps because of the importance of the city of Sol Arrat as a starting point for the Sol Oritur project, the same has changed again and again. Old buildings and ideas have been discarded, new styles have been implemented, and new techniques have been used again and again to create a city worthy of its status as a capital city. The age of the city and its buildings in the overall context has always remained a point of conflict, because while the builders have continued to develop over the years of the project, learning more and more new techniques and methods of construction, the city as such has remained static since the end of the last major construction phase in 2015. Lovingly meant, it is therefore known as the largest redevelopment case on the server.
The city of Sol Arrat can be roughly divided into three districts: The Old Town with its market and port, the Industrial and Crafts District and the New Town, one of the most recent additions. Each of these districts, of course, has its own particular characteristics and prominent places without detracting from the overall image of the city and its history. The harbor is teeming with workers, birds and, of course, ships; the Kontor is where people trade at the lumber exchange; and the livestock market is where farmers hope to get the best price for their animals. In between there are bakers, butchers and of course the town's gallows. Not far from the oldest part of the market and right next to the town hall is the brewery, one of the first buildings in the new town. This is followed by numerous residential & commercial buildings, a courthouse a new market hall and some ruins and construction sites.

Driven by its own canal system, the industrial quarter again contains the larger craft workshops, department stores and of course the one or other crook. In addition, extreme caution is required here, because when wood for the sawmill is transported on the track system, you should not stand in the way. Otherwise, there is a risk of losing your head.

The city of Sol Arrat includes a large port, an industrial, or craft district and the market district with the town hall, as well as the stately castle. Built over several years, Mulcho, derFlo1909 and LottaXL have created a timeless work here. With a footprint that almost dwarfs that of the city itself. The fortifications stretching over several levels, a residential area secured by them, large stables and of course the palace itself with its numerous rooms, towers bay windows and cellars offers endless lovingly designed details to discover. However, it is not only the design of the palace that is impressive, but rather that of the surrounding large towers. Each one has its own use and task. Be it as quarters for the master of the royal stables, as quarters for the guards of the bodyguard or as a prison for swindlers, impostors and any other scum.
